If you’re from Osaka, you’ve definitely heard of 551 Horai – it’s a legendary spot! They’ve got their main operations in the Kansai region, and their takeout meat buns (nikuman) are crazy popular. Most of their shops are takeout-only, but a few do have eat-in options.
I’ve been to their main store, and let me tell you, it was delicious! You’ve gotta try their meat buns, whether you’re eating in or taking out. When they did a limited-time pop-up in Tokyo, people were lining up for hours – I’m not even kidding. If you’re in Osaka, this is totally a must-try spot.
Since only a few locations offer eat-in dining, I’d recommend checking their official website to find the right spot. The two branches I’m talking about are both in Namba and have spacious eat-in areas, which is pretty sweet.
